Col. Kent D. Hansen is Commander of the 419th Mission Support Group, U.S. Air Force Reserve, Hill Air Force Base, Utah. He is responsible for wing functional areas of transportation, fuels, material management, installation readiness, civil engineering, communications, services, personnel, and security forces.
Colonel Hansen is a 1991 cum laude graduate of the University of Wisconsin. Commissioned a second lieutenant in 1992 as a personnel officer, he trained as a security police officer two years later. He received his first command in 2001 and has served in a variety of positions during his career, including squadron commander (three times, once deployed), security forces director (Numbered Air Force) and chief of security forces operations (major command).
