Eight F-35A Lightning IIs and about 250 personnel from the Air Force Reserve 419th FW and active duty 388th FW at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, are in Europe for several weeks and will travel to multiple NATO bases in an effort to maximize training opportunities and demonstrate U.S. support to NATO. In their civilian lives, Rickard is a pilot for Delta Air Lines and Johnston works for SkyWest Airlines.
