"(Sergeant Noble's) skills and leadership abilities make her an outstanding role model for all young women. She is an inspiration to her coworkers and has a strong influence on the lives around her. She is pursuing a degree, working full-time, completes Reserve duties, and is an amazing mom. She is a shinning example of the true spirit of the American women," said Debra Schwartz, Sergeant Noble's 84th CSW supervisor.

Sergeant Noble is currently a sophomore at Park University, majoring in Logistics Management, maintaining a 3.5 grade point average and completed Senior Noncommissioned Officer Academy within one month of promotion.

Each year, Your Community Connection of Ogden and Northern Utah honors members of the community with the special awards in 27 different categories. Awards are given to individuals who have exhibited courage, strength and resiliency on their way to achieving advocacy, leadership, creativity, initiative and service.

"Recipients of the awards are selected based on the ability to be a role model to others, community involvement, barriers overcome, personal achievements and similar criteria," according Raquel Lee, the community resource center manager at YCC.

The YCC is a non-profit organization that recognizes role models in the community while fulfilling their mission of "saving and changing lives."
