Chief Master Sergeant of the Space Force HEATHER RICHINS

Chief Master Sgt. Heather Richins is Command Chief of the 419th Fighter Wing, U.S. Air Force Reserve, Hill Air Force Base, Utah. She is the highest enlisted leader in the wing and provides direction for the enlisted force, representing their interests across Hill AFB and throughout the local community. She serves as an adviser to the commander on all issues regarding welfare, readiness, and morale of the wing’s enlisted force. She also provides oversight and guidance to the wing’s First Sergeants Council, Chiefs’ Group, and Top Three Association.

Chief Richins is from Henefer, Utah, and graduated from North Summit High School in 1994. She joined the Air Force Reserve in July 1995. After basic training, she completed the Health Services Management Course at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, in December 1995. She was subsequently assigned to Hill AFB, Utah. Prior to her current position, Chief Richins was Superintendent for the 419th Mission Support Group at Hill AFB. Chief Richins completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Management in 2008 from the University of Phoenix and earned a Master of Science in Human Resources in 2011 from Utah State University.

In her civilian job, she serves as Human Resources Director for a health care company focused on providing the highest quality care to people with renal disease and other chronic conditions.
