IN FOCUS: Senior Airman James Hall
UNIT: 67th Aerial Port Squadron
TITLE: Air transportation apprentice
FUN FACTS: James is a 25-year-old Utah native who recently transitioned from the Marine Corps, where he served on active duty as a corrections officer, to serving as one of the newest reservists in the 67th APS, where he loads cargo and passengers aboard military aircraft. “I loved serving my country and wanted to keep helping people, that’s why I joined the Reserve,” James said. “You feel a sense of purpose watching a plane take off with humanitarian aid in it that you loaded.” When he isn’t working his civilian job as a security forces officer for Hill AFB, you can find him hitting the fairway working on his golf swing, weightlifting, or playing his favorite video game, Far Cry 5. Even though he has a tough guy persona for his job, James is a self-proclaimed softy when it comes to animals, especially dogs.
