The 419th Fighter Wing held a Family Day on Saturday, September 10 at Centennial Park. It was a way for 419th reservists to showcase their duties to their loved ones and to spend the day filled with activities.

“Family day is a day of connection,” said Lt. Col. Derek Guinn, a chaplain with the 419th FW. “Connections, relationships and being together with family.”

The day’s event includes food, games, demonstrations, mechanical bull, and rock-climbing wall. For children, they were able to participate in ring toss, bouncy houses, and many other games.

Representatives from various organizations were available to talk to reservists, including Vet Center, Veterans Affair, American Red Cross, TRICARE, and several others.
