Brian Loftus, 419th Security Forces Squadron commander, and Master Sgt. Matthew Mason, 419th SFS first sergeant, talk with Airman 1st Class Jeffrey Howcroft, a 419th SFS reservist, during the September UTA. The new commander took some time to meet the Airmen under his command during his first drill weekend this month. Loftus assumed command of the squadron from Maj. Gloria Moran during a ceremony here Sept. 15. He previously served as the Individual Mobilization Augmentee to the operations officer at the 99th SFS, Nellis AFB, Nev.
