Maintainers from the 388th and 419th Fighter Wings went head-to-head at a bomb-loading competition at Hill AFB Feb. 24 to determine the load crew of the year. Teams consisted of previous load-crew-of-the-quarter winners.

Crewmembers put their skills to the test as they put a munitions load on their respective F-16 and F-35A fighter aircraft in less than an hour inside Hangar 37 to the cheers of fellow squadron and family members.

The competition included speed and precision accuracy and was too close to call a definitive winning team. The load crew of the year will be announced at the annual Maintenance Awards March 4.
