IN FOCUS: Tech. Sgt. Kristopher Johnson

UNIT: 419th Fighter Wing Chaplain’s Office

TITLE: Chaplain Assistant

FUN FACTS: Kristopher is a Utah native, recently retired from his civilian career as a police lieutenant at the Santaquin City Police Department after 21 years. He discovered a passion for cycling when he was 18 and it quickly became a way of life, thriving off the adrenaline and therapeutic effects of being in nature. He even runs his own bike shop, Nebo Peaks Cycles, in Payson, Utah. Since biking is hard on the body, Kristopher spends several hours a day doing yoga and meditation. As an Air Force reservist, he works as a chaplain assistant, helping Airmen with their spiritual needs. He said cycling, yoga, and religious work helped him restore his faith in humanity.
