The 67th Aerial Port Squadron performed essential load training here today. The scenario gave members a sense of realism when processing cargo, according to Chief Master Sgt. Matthew McElreath, senior air reserve technician and top enlisted Airman with the 67th APS.

"This training is vital for our members because we do not have many chances to work live missions," he said.

The APS executed a series of training scenarios with a training C-130.

"Because we don't have many opportunities at Hill Air Force Base to work real missions involving actual aircraft, this allows our members to gain proficiency with realistic equipment that we could not otherwise simulate," McElreath said.
