Hiring Our Heroes event to be held in St. George Jan. 24 Published Jan. 2, 2013 HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- Hiring Our Heroes -- a job fair for veteran job seekers, active duty military members, Guard and Reserve members, and military spouses -- will be held Jan. 24 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Dixie Center, 1835 Convention Center Drive, St. George. Participants may also attend a résumé and interview skills workshop Jan. 22 at the Dixie Center. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce sponsored hiring event is conducted by the Utah Veterans and Military Employment Coalition, the Utah Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, the Utah Department of Veterans Affairs, the Utah Department of Workforce Services, the Department of Labor's Veterans' Employment and Training Service, the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, NBC News, and other local partners.
