The latest report from the North Pole confirms Santa Claus will pay an early visit to the 419th Fighter Wing Dec. 2. His upgraded sleigh, an F-16 Fighting Falcon, is scheduled to arrive at 2 p.m. just outside Hangar 37.

To celebrate St. Nick's return to Hill AFB, the wing will hold a children's Christmas party starting at 1:30 p.m. in the hangar, where there will be games, goodies and gifts. All wing children are invited to attend the festivities, which include time on Santa's lap and plenty of photos opportunities. Rumor has it the notorious "Harley the Elf" will also make an appearance.

Reservists whose children attend should bring a wrapped gift for Santa to pass out. Gifts should be clearly marked with the child's name and can be dropped off at the 466th Fighter Squadron lounge in Bldg. 5 Sunday morning between 8 a.m. and noon, or at Hangar 37 before the party begins.
