Wing to hold change of command ceremony

The 419th Fighter Wing will host a change of command ceremony here Nov. 4 at 1 p.m. during which Col. Bryan P. Radliff will assume command.

Relinquishing command is Col. Keith A. Knudson who has served as commander since December 2010.

The 419th FW - Utah's sole Air Force Reserve unit - is made up of nearly 1,200 personnel in a variety of specialty areas to include F-16 operations, maintenance, and mission support. As commander, Radliff will oversee a dynamic training program to provide a force capable of worldwide deployment.

Prior to his assignment with the 419th FW, Radliff commanded the 477th Fighter Group, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. He entered the Air Force in 1989 as a distinguished graduate of the Reserve Officer Training Corps. Radliff then served on active duty for 10 years and in the Florida Air National Guard for three years before joining the Air Force Reserve in 2003. He is a command pilot with more than 3,300 hours in F-22, F-15 and T-38 aircraft.

Knudson will retire after 27 years of distinguished service, with more than 3,600 hours in the F-16.
