'Warriors Over the Wasatch' schedule of events now available Published May 16, 2012 75th Air Base Wing Public Affairs HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- Base officials released the event lineup for this Memorial Day weekend's "Warriors Over the Wasatch" open house and air show featuring the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds. Several different military and civilian aerial and ground performers are scheduled for the May 26 and 27 event, which is free and open to the public. Additionally, Air Combat Command released the names of the pilots who will participate in the U.S. Air Force Heritage Flight at this year's event. Capt. Garrett "Mace" Dover of the 388th Fighter Wing here will pilot an F-16 Fighting Falcon alongside civilian Heritage Flight pilot Greg Anders in a P-51 Mustang. The Air Force Heritage Flight represents the evolution of air power by flying today's state-of-the-art fighter aircraft in close formation with vintage fighter aircraft. Heritage flights are flown at air shows around the country in support of Air Force recruiting and retention.
