Matthew Matysik, 419th Maintenance Squadron, lights a candle at Hill Air Force Base's Chiefs Recognition Ceremony here Feb. 17. The annual event recognizes chief master sergeant selects and recently promoted chiefs across the base. At the ceremony, honorees lit a candle representing each Air Force rank, starting at Airman Basic. Also recognized from the 419th Fighter Wing were Chief Master Sgt. James Pineault, 419th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, and Chief Master Sgt. (select) James Robinson, 419th Civil Engineer Squadron.
