Santa Claus is slated to visit the 419th Fighter Wing Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. According to recent reports, he has upgraded his traditional mode of transportation, eight tiny reindeer, to the super-fast F-16 Fighting Falcon. His new "sleigh" is said to land just outside Hangar 37.

In honor of his visit, the wing will hold a children's Christmas party, where there will be games, goodies and gifts. All wing children are invited to attend the festivities, which will include time on Santa's lap and plenty of photo opportunities. The party begins at 1:30 p.m., just before St. Nick jets in.

Reservists whose children attend should bring a wrapped gift for Santa to present to them. Gifts should be clearly marked with the child's name and can be dropped off at the 466th Fighter Squadron's lounge in Bldg. 5 between 8 a.m. and noon Dec. 4.
