The 419th Fighter Wing is gearing up for a jam-packed Family Day Sept. 10, with even more events lined up for reservists and their families, including a free concert and meet-and-greet with country music artist Neal McCoy.

The meet-and-greet with McCoy, whose credits include several platinum-selling albums and number-one singles, will begin at 12:15 p.m., followed by a concert at 1 p.m.

Family Day kicks off at 11 a.m. at the base's Centennial Park where the wing will begin by honoring Utah's Patriot Guard Riders - a group of motorcyclists who regularly support homecomings and funerals of military personnel.

The wing will also host a patriotic ceremony to remember and reflect on the ten years since the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Free barbecue lunch and cold beverages will be provided.

Activities throughout the day include volleyball, a dunk tank, unit displays and demos, and a performance by Utah's own Aerial Amore. Activities for children include games, an I.D. station, and bouncy houses.

Families can also visit the flightline for an up-close look at several static displays, including an F-16 and a KC-135 Stratotanker provided by Utah's Air National Guard.

Additionally, booths will be set up to provide reservists and their families with information on various organizations, including the Department of Veterans Affairs, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, and TRICARE, among others.
