When it comes to the well-being of Airmen at the 419th Fighter Wing, Senior Airman Benjamin Dayley is the man for the job. Airman Dayley is a service technician with the 419th Force Support Squadron. His job is to make sure gym-goers know how to properly work out and use the fitness center's equipment. He also works in the dining facility to properly prepare, store, cook and serve food. Public Affairs recently learned more about Airman Dayley.

Why did you join the Air Force Reserve?

I wanted to get some more experience in the field I'm going into as a civilian and to help pay for school.

What are some of your hobbies?

I love board games, tennis, hiking and being outside.

Is there a food that you always have in your kitchen?

There's an appliance I use that's my favorite of all. It's called a rocket oven. I learned about it on my mission in Germany. It has a griddle on top and below that you can warm things up and melt cheese and fry stuff. If that's too hard, you can just say spaghetti.

What three things do you need in a zombie apocalypse?

You've got to have a chainsaw. That's a given; you have to have that. You've got to have gasoline and some sort of torch that can shoot fire.
