What do you enjoy most about the Air Force Reserve?

It really gives me a feeling of accomplishment to know that I've been part of something greater than myself. I love the fact that the reserve gives me the chance to break away from the monotony of daily life and do things that I don't normally do every day. I love the idea being able to serve. I've had the ability to go on one deployment already, and I'm getting ready to go on another one soon.

What do you do on the civilian side of your life?

I've been a fulltime student for the past two years. I'm working on earning my degree in communications, specifically organizational behavior.

What do you do in your free time?

I got started in ballroom about 12 years ago and have loved it ever since. This past year I was on a dance team that toured across Russia for three weeks and danced in six major cities there. Aside from dancing, I really love doing anything in the outdoors. I love camping, hiking, hunting, and fishing.

What do you have on your iPod?

I have workout music and some wind-down music. But I mainly have music to keep you pumping during the workout.

Who is the most influential person in your life and why?

My Grandfather! He is a man among men. He served in the Navy during World War II and he is the epitome of "integrity first." If he gives his word, it's golden. He will be there with you till the end to help you out.
