HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- Three reservists in the 419th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron were named Load Crew of the Quarter after going head to head with their active duty counterparts during an F-35 Lightning II weapons load competition this month.
Representing the 419th were Tech. Sgt. Brian Hansen, Staff Sgt. Elliot Berg, and Airman 1st Class Seth Holden.
Each quarter, the 419th Fighter Wing pits a team of reservists against three active duty load crews from the 388th FW. The competition primarily serves as training for Airmen to quickly and accurately load jets as they would in a deployed setting, but it also cultivates teamwork and boosts morale.
