HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah – As social distancing and quarantine have become part of the “new normal” during the coronavirus pandemic, the 419th Fighter Wing is offering new ways for Airmen and wing leaders to stay connected.

Last month, the wing joined the Air Force Connect mobile app, designed to deliver timely and relevant information to Airmen and their families. But it also offers another avenue for Airmen to communicate with leadership via the “Questions” icon on the bottom menu of the app.

Wing personnel can utilize the “Questions” section to submit a concern that hasn’t already been resolved through the appropriate chain of command. For a speedy response, reservists can include their name and contact information, but they can also submit comments anonymously.

Responses to anonymous submissions will be sent to the applicable subject matter expert for resolution. During forthcoming Unit Training Assembly weekends, Chief Master Sgt. Paul Strazz, the wing’s command chief, will then send a wing-wide email that includes the question and final response.

To download the app and submit questions or concerns, follow the instructions on the graphic above.
