419th Fighter Wing to host blood drive Jan. 9

HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah – The 419th Fighter Wing will host a blood drive in partnership with American Red Cross, along with free COVID antibody tests here Jan. 9, 2021, during the wing’s unit training assembly weekend.

Donations will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the fellowship hall at the Hill AFB chapel located at 5711 E Ave.

Those interested in donating must schedule an appointment by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS, or visiting www.redcrossblood.org and entering “readytobleed” in the search box at the top of the page.  

Volunteers can also streamline the donation process by visiting www.redcrossblood.org/rapidpass to complete pre-donation readings and health history questions on the day of the appointment.

For the safety of others, all volunteers are required to wear a mask during their donation in accordance with Centers for Disease Control guidelines.
