HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, a Department of Defense office, is looking for outstanding civilian employers that allow their employees to serve part-time in the United States Armed Forces.
Members of the 419th Fighter Wing and their spouses are welcomed to nominate their supervisors and bosses for the Patriot Award. The Patriot Award reflects the efforts made to support citizen warriors through a wide-range of measures including flexible schedules, time off prior to and after deployment, caring for families, and granting leaves of absence if needed.
The ESGR, established in 1972, aims to promote cooperation and understanding between Reserve Component Service members and their civilian employers.
