HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- The 419th Force Support Squadron held a change of command ceremony on Dec. 7, 2024, where Major Jessica Hennig relinquished command to Lt. Col. Mary Roundy.
Roundy enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1994 and has a combined total of 28 years of service. She earned her officer commission through the Academy of Military Science in 2003. Her overseas deployments include a tour as the 701st Expeditionary Special Operations Support Squadron Commander at Bagram AB, Afghanistan in 2015. Roundy has also volunteered for several tours of active duty with her most recent serving at the Office of Defense Cooperation, U.S. Embassy, Berlin Germany. Prior to her current position, she was the Manpower Officer for U.S. Special Operations Command-Central at MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL.
Hennig had served as commander of the 419th FSS since 2022. Roundy said she is grateful for the opportunity to carrying on the mission of the 419th FSS that Hennig has led.
The 419th Force Support Squadron is made up of about 75 reservists responsible for providing personnel, services, airmen & family readiness, education & training, and cyber support to over 1,200 fighter wing personnel.
