Maj. Frank Bonnin assumed command of the 419th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron during a ceremony here Nov. 8.

Bonnin began his career in 1991 and received his commission in 2004 through the Deserving Airman Commissioning Program. Before assuming command of the AMXS, he was an operations officer for the same squadron.

The AMXS is home to about 15 percent of the 419th Fighter Wing's total personnel, including 56 full-time Air Reserve Technicians, or ARTs, and 111 part-time traditional reservists.

Relinquishing command was Maj. Eileen Frock, who served as commander since August 2014.

"Expect great things from me while I will expect great things of you," Bonnin said during his remarks. "Together, as a team, we will excel and move forward."
