Nearly 100 Reserve Airmen from the 419th Mission Support Group completed two-week annual training by embedding with their active-duty counterparts at Eglin Air Force Base and Hurlburt Field in Florida from April 18 through May 2.

"This training has given our people the building blocks they need to be prepared for future deployments," said Master Sgt. Doane Kaiser, 67th Aerial Port Squadron services supervisor. "At home we train to do our job - here; we actually get to do our job."

The MSG Airmen included logistics, services, aerial port and civil engineering personnel.
In addition to serving one weekend a month, reservists are required to complete two weeks of hands-on training every year to stay combat-ready. Most of the participating reservists live and work in Northern Utah. They each took time away from their civilian careers and families to participate in the training.
