More than 50 reservists from the 419th Security Forces Squadron spent four days performing rigorous training exercises at Utah Army National Guard Camp W.G. Williams last week.

The simulated war environment tested Airmen as they gathered enemy intelligence, cleared buildings, captured prisoners of war, and practiced communication techniques while under fire. The training was intended to prepare the Airmen for stressful, life-threatening scenarios.

"This is an opportunity for us to come out here and actually work, train, and get tactics down so we can deploy to forward locations anywhere around the world," said Senior Master Sgt. Robert Richards, 419th SFS superintendent.

In this particular exercise, the Airmen simulated taking control of an enemy building and capturing a high-profile target.
