LRS holds change of command

Maj. Eric Hidden took command of the 419th Logistics Readiness Squadron from Lt. Col. Jason Exum during a change-of-command ceremony here Sunday.

Hidden was the operations officer of the wing's 67th Aerial Port Squadron before becoming commander of the 419th LRS. He was born in Bangor, Maine and attended Morgan High School, graduating in 1985. Hidden enlisted in the Air Force in 1987, and earned his commission in 1998.

Exum served as the 419th LRS commander since July 2012. He was born in Jacksonville, Fla. and attended Cypress Creek High School, Texas, graduating in May 1994. He entered the Air Force in 1998. Exum will become commander of the 26th Aerial Port Squadron at Lackland AFB.
