HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah -- The 419th Logistics Readiness Squadron welcomed a new commander at a ceremony here today.
Maj. Justin Crump, who previously served as operations officer for the 67th Aerial Port Squadron, assumed command of the 419th LRS from Lt. Col. Eric Hidden.
“I promise you I will lead by example,” Crump said during his remarks. “I look forward to working with the outstanding Airmen of the LRS.”
The LRS is home to about 80 reservists in a variety of specialties to include fuels, transportation, supply, and logistics plans.
Crump earned his commission through the Reserve Officer Training Corps at Utah State University in 2000. His most recent deployment was a tour to Southwest Asia as operations officer for the 386th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron.
Hidden commanded the LRS since 2014 and will now move on to a position with the 419th FW staff supporting the commander.
