Kirkuk - Night Eyes
KIRKUK REGIONAL AIR BASE, Iraq - Senior Airman Thomas Benincosa, 506th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, keeps a vigilant eye during night operations here Nov. 2. In the background, oil refineries burn off excess oil. Airman Benincosa works mid-shift for Alpha flight doing patrols around the perimeter of the base and on guard stations along the fence line. Kirkuk is the only base in Iraq completely patrolled and guarded by Air Force Security Forces and Airman Benincosa is just one of many security forces members making that happen. Airman Benincosa is deployed from the 419th Security Forces Squadron at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. (U.S. Air Force Photo/Senior Airman Jeremy McGuffin)
