Flag Donation
U.S. Air Force Reservist Tech. Sgt. Blake Lilly, 419th Fighter Wing Maintenance Squadron Propulsion Flight, Salutes during a flag presentation ceremony at Freedom Elementary School April 20. Sergeant Lily, who deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in December, donated a flag to the school that had been flown over Iraq during a mission in an Air Force Reserve Command F-16. "What better place to give a flag than to the Freedom Elementary Patriots," said Sgt. Lilly during the Ceremony. The base Honor Guard present the colors a the event which was attended by the entire elementary school, including Sergeant Lilly's 9 year old daughter. the school plans to put the flag in a display case near the building's entrance.
