Christmas Donation
This last holiday season, dozens of 419th FW reservists put on their Santa's helper hats to make the season a little brighter for countless Utah families. Tech. Sgt. Jessica Rodriguez, a 67th Aerial Port Squadron resource management specialist rallied the troops in supporting two large community service events. After hearing the local Toys for Tots coordinators needed additional help, Rodriquez sent an out email asking for volunteers. Fifteen 419th FW reservists partnered with the Marine Corp for their annual toy drive by bagging and delivering the toys to women's shelters and foster homes in the area. The 419th FW members also passed out bags of gifts to needy families at the Toys for Tots distribution center in Salt Lake City. Sergeant Rodriguez also organized volunteers to help at the annual Shop with a Cop event hosted by local law enforcement agencies in partnership with the Layton Wal-mart. (Photo by Kari Tilton)
