Col. Charles Mood, 419th Mission Support Group commander, presents Master Sgt. Matthew Hill, 419th Civil Engineer Squadron, with the Air Force Combat Action Medal May 2. Sergeant Hill was honored for his actions during an Afghanistan deployment when his patrol came under heavy enemy fire. Sergeant Hill repelled the attack and assisted a wounded soldier.
