419th Fighter Wing Photos

Gather 'round

Staff Sgt. Jay Savitt, of the 419th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, explains the operations of an F-16. The 419th Fighter Wing hosted a tour for a group of about 15 grandparents and their grandchildren on Wednesday. The grandparents are part of Elderhostel, the world's first and largest educational travel organization for adults 55 and older. The non-profit organization promotes lifelong learning, taking trips around the country and around the world. As part of a week-long excursion to help bridge generational barriers, the group toured the 419th Fighter Wing to learn more about the Air Force Reserve and the F-16, while spending time with family.
