60th anniversary

The 419th participates in Patriot Glacier, the first Air Force Reserve deployment with F-16s, in 1984. Only six months after officially converting to the new aircraft, the wing operated F-16s at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska, producing 403 sorties for valuable continuation and mission qualification training.
