Maj. Kregg Smith (right), operations officer in the 419th Logistics Readiness Squadron, describes how the newly created deployment readiness cell will streamline pre-deployment and post-deployment processes for Airmen Mar. 6, 2021, at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. Various offices and functions were consolidated to a single location in order to reduce the time needed to get Airmen ready for deployment.
